Mr. Faisal AlMahroos - Chairman
Mr. Faisal Almahroos, Chairman of Hoqool Petroleum International (HPIC) has 35 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors of The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco). He held the positions of Bapco's Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Bahrain Lube Base Oil Company and member of Tatweer Petroleum Board of Directors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Tulsa, USA.
Mr. Mohammed Al Dandani - CEO
Mr. Mohammed Al-Dandani, Chief Executive Officer of HPIC received his MSc in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College, University of London. He served a total of 32 years in the oil industry sector, 14 years with Saudi Aramco, in Exploration and Development, field geology, well sites, reservoir characterization, geological and basin modeling and management, oil trading in Dharan and New York offices, 18 years in the service side of the business with the last 4 years as a CEO of HPIC.
Mr. Habib Al-Alawi - COO
Mr. Habib Al Alawi, Chief Operating Officer of HPIC, has over 20 years of experience in onshore and offshore 2D/3D seismic data interpretation and generation of prospect and use the output to promote Bahrain Offshore/Onshore Blocks. Mr. Al Alawi as a Senior Geophysicist supervised the acquisition/processing and interpretation of 2D/3D seismic data. He coordinated BAPCO’s upstream ventures with focus on exploration and production opportunities, during his term as Head of International upstream ventures with BAPCO from 2009 to 2015. He graduated from University of Bahrain, BSC Physics in 1989. He is the Founder & Managing Director of Middle East Prospect Expo (MEPEX) from 2010 till present. He is Member of the Dubai Scout Group (DSG) and SEG Bahrain representative from 2009 till 2012. – 1989.
Mr. Samir Abdelmoaty - Board Member
Currently with the Egyptian Geophysical Society, Samir received his BSc degree in Physics and Geology from Cairo University (1971), followed by a Diploma and MSc in Geophysics. He worked with the Academy of Scientific research, GUPCO, BG, Egypt, and in 1993 became the president of PGS Tensor Middle East. His last position was Deputy Exploration Performance Unit Leader. Samir is currently retained by BP as a consultant for exploration and petroleum agreements. He was selected by the Society of Exploration Geophysicist to be the 2009 Honorary Lecturer for Africa and Middle East. In 2009, Samir has received Honorary Membership award from SEG.
Mr. Andrew A. Young - Board Member
Andrew received his BE degree in Chemical Engineering, Melbourne University, Australia, and MBA (Hons) degree from Rochester, N.Y. USA. Andrew has forty two years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, including technical, financial and management roles. He worked in large, medium and small companies including establishing "start-up" companies. His experience involved Exploration, Development, Production, Gas Processing, Pipeline Operations, Drilling Contracting and Management Consulting Services. His management skills include Non-Executive Director, Managing Director, COO, GM and other supervisory and technical positions in various oil & gas companies, including Exxon, Bridge Oil, Natural Gas NZ, Century Drilling, Gaffney Cline & Associates, Anzon Australia/Anzon Energy, and Digital Core. He worked in diverse geological settings in Australasia, South East Asia, Central Asia/India, Middle East, Africa, and North America. He is active in industry, business and professional societies, with effective relationships worldwide through his corporate activity consulting and his international SPE Presidency in 2003.
